My mom and I had the best stay at Mike and Jen's B&B for the Shakespeare festival. The rooms were spacious (we stayed in the Patterson) with lovely decor. The beds were comfortable, and the amenities (towels, shampoo, etc) were great.

The location is perfectly situated to get to the 4 theaters, the lake and the restaurants.

Jen is a great cook and we loved her breakfasts every morning (I particularly enjoyed the homemade granola.)

Our hosts are welcoming and accommodating. We will be back.

My husband and I thoroughly loved our stay at the Strat House. The breakfast was delicious, the room was well appointed and the location ideal. Mike and Jen are very friendly, natural hosts. They have done an amazing facelift to the property since they acquired it. It is bright, fresh and has an at home feel. |We enjoy staying at B and B’s as we meet interesting people and have great conversations! This did not disappoint. The outdoor front porch was a godsend on a warm day.

I can’t say enough about my wonderful stay this weekend at The Strat Guesthouse! Our hosts Jen and Mike were welcoming, helpful and so personable. The room was perfect as was the absolutely delicious breakfast. I will be back and I highly recommend The Stat to anyone visiting the area. It’s within walking distance to the theatre, shopping and restaurants as well!

We had a fantastic stay at The Strat. Perfect location, we parked our car and didn’t need it again for the weekend. Spotlessly clean, comfortable beds and spacious rooms. Breakfasts were lovely and dietary accommodations made perfectly. Our hosts, Mike and Jennifer were friendly and offered great recommendations for places to eat and things to do in Stratford and surrounding areas. Highly recommend!!

Just spent a fabulous weekend at The Strat! It was clean, comfortable and cozy! Our hosts, Jen and Mike, were great. Very accommodating and knowledgeable about places to go and things to do in the area. The food was delicious and it is conveniently located within walking distance to shopping, restaurants and the theatre! If you are planning a visit to Stratford, this is the place to stay!

Wonderful place! The location is fantastic - quiet and cozy but close to everything. The food was amazing including a first rate granola that was delighted to have the recipe shared with the guests. Mike and Jen make sublime hosts - knowledgeable about the area and the big draw of the festival. Looking forward to staying again next year!

Mike and Jen were excellent hosts during our recent visit to Stratford. The great location allowed us to walk to a performance at the Festival Theatre and our room was lovely. Breakfast was delicious and we particularly enjoyed the homemade granola. Mike and Jen went above and beyond to mail us our charger that we had accidentally left in the room. This was our second time staying at the Strat and we look forward to returning again in the future!

Mike and Jennifer have a beautiful, welcoming home that we felt very comfortable in. Lots of Canadian artwork on walls, recent novels on the tables, and bedrooms that offer everything, including a mini fridge with cold water, hairdryer, etc. Breakfast was delicious - thanks to Jennifer for her homemade granola, yoghurt, and fresh fruit! - along with french toast and bacon. Very centrally located, you can walk to anywhere in downtown Stratford, and Mike provides excellent directions and recommendations of places and things to do. Thank you for the lovely stay! We will be back...
